students.gov - Student Gateway to the U.S. Government - came online in 1999 with the mission of providing students and their families with a student-centered, interagency gateway to the federal services and information they need from across the entire US government and selected non-government sites. Site links on students.gov come from suggestions made by students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and others who know first-hand what information will be most helpful during the transition to life beyond high school.
